I’m a huge believer that you can make your own luck. 🍀✨

Luck = Doing x Telling

So here’s 3 tips on how I maximize my luck surface area: 🌱 Develop a growth mindset ⚖️ Master the Yes/No balance 🤝 Keep connecting

By engaging in more activities (doing) and sharing your experiences (telling), you increase the number of potential opportunities for luck to find you. People who network effectively and seize opportunities have a higher likelihood of experiencing "lucky" events (Kellogg School of Management). 📈✨

🌱 Develop a growth mindset: Every opportunity is an invitation to explore. Receive it with grace.

How you receive an opportunity signals the universe on what possibilities should be presented to you in the future.

If you reject a chance because you feel you “haven’t earned” or “don’t deserve” it, you are doing a disservice to yourself.

So accepting or rejecting an opportunity has to start with receiving that gift with self-worthiness and gratitude (instead of unworthiness and shame).

Embrace serendipity: be curious about and stay grateful for any opportunities that come your way.

⚖️ Master the Yes/No balance: At the start of my 20s, I felt compelled to say yes to every opportunity that came my way.

By my late 20s, I told myself I needed to learn how to say no to protect my time and energy.

I’ve decided it’s all about clarity. You need to determine your “one thing” - your primary goal or passion - and say no to anything that conflicts with it.

Everything else that aligns with your values has an opportunity to open doors you never even knew existed.

Finding clarity and cultivating that balance takes trial and error.

🤝 Keep connecting: Share your projects, learnings, and experiences with others. It opens you up to unexpected collaborations and opportunities. Nurture your relationships and maintain a strong presence within your network by engaging in genuine conversations and being present.

🚀 So take the first step today:

Share your journey with one person in your network. You never know who or what will come knocking!

Luck is waiting for you, so open those doors! 🚪
