# 2. Keep Showing Up

My 2nd biggest learning of 5 from the last third of my life:

“Never bet against a person who just keeps showing up." 🚀

This gem ties back to my learning # 1: I have a destination in mind and a plan. And I’m going to keep showing up until I get there and keep going until I get past that milestone too.

The worst part about being a startup founder is the uncertainty. There are so many unknown unknowns.

That’s why I often have to remind myself: doubt is removed by action. You have to keep trying things and showing up. 🚀

And your focus has to be on direction—not speed.

It’s better to climb slowly up the RIGHT mountain than to climb fast up the WRONG one!

I’ve fallen into the “Speed Trap” on several occasions. Climbing as fast as I could, only to get to the top of the mountain and realize I climbed the wrong one.

It’s a terrible feeling—one that can be avoided by focusing on direction first, speed second.

The Paradox of Speed: You have to slow down to speed up. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.

But you can’t stop, keep moving even if its baby steps. It’s so easy to get caught up in the "what ifs" while overanalyzing every decision. 🌱

Increase your high agency by maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset and continuously showing up, day after day.

Each step we take in the right direction, regardless of how small, brings us closer to our goals and helps build our confidence. 💯

So next time doubt creeps in, remember to keep pushing forward, trying new things, and showing up.
