Self-doubt is a distorted lens *

A concept I often revisit:
self-assessment π§ β¨
We need brutal self-awareness to identify areas of improvement, embrace a growth mindset, and push our competency boundaries.
But how do we balance this with self-doubt? π€
Self-doubt is natural but distorts our perception of ourselves & our abilities.
Our flaws seem bigger than they are π΅βπ«
Where's the line separating them? π
Self-doubt is a distorted lens and magnifies our flaws π
While self-assessment allows you to see the whole picture and foster continuous growth π±
So how do you stick to self-assessment?
(1) Focus on SMART goals π―: Pinpoint areas of improvement that matter to you
(2) Engage in double-loop learning π: Challenge beliefs, assumptions & biases for deeper personal growth
(3) Embrace a growth mindset π§ββοΈ: Take responsibility for mistakes & believe in your ability to improve
self-doubt = stagnation π§
self-assessment = growth π
