Keep Showing Up
βNever bet against a person who just keeps showing up." π
I stumbled upon this gem of wisdom from an old Sahil Bloom post, and it was the Monday motivation I needed. πͺ
I've been working on Smarty for quite some time now. π§ Both in my head and in practice, with funding and without.
It's been a rollercoaster of a journey π’, and an even longer path still lies ahead.
I'm sure my investors, friends, family, and all the stakeholders in my life have had moments where they've thought: how much longer are you going to keep going? π€
I don't know how much longer it'll take, but I have a destination in mind. π― I'm going to keep showing up until I get there and keep going until I get past that milestone too. I'm not going to stop showing up. πββοΈ
So, to anyone out there struggling with their own passion project, startup, or just trying to make a dream a reality, let me tell you this: keep showing up. π Keep pushing through the doubts and the setbacks. Embrace the late nights and early mornings βοΈ, because they are the foundation of your future success.
Remember that the only way to truly fail is to give up. As long as you're in the arena, fighting for your dreams, you have the opportunity to make progress. π And progress, no matter how small or slow, is still a step in the right direction. Sometimes the most extraordinary achievements are born out of sheer perseverance. π―
Surround yourself with people who believe in you and who will cheer you on during the tough times. π€ Draw strength from those who have walked a similar path before you, and be prepared to lend a hand to those who come after you. Because when we lift each other up, we all rise together. π
So, to everyone who has ever wondered when I'll give up on Smarty or questioned the journey I've chosen, the answer is simple: I won't. π And to all the dreamers and doers out there, neither should you. Believe in yourself, keep showing up, and keep pushing forward. You never know just how close you are to turning your dreams into reality. π
In the words of Winston Churchill, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." So let's continue, and let's show up β every single day β until we reach our goals and beyond. Together, we will make the impossible possible. π«ππ
